How is this different from a regular photo booth? +
A regular photo booth is self-serve — you step in, press a button, get a blurry strip. Notable Portraits is a real portrait session with a real photographer. We direct every guest: how to stand, how to look, what to do with their hands. The result is a studio-quality image in flattering high-key light — something guests are proud to frame and keep, not forget in a drawer.
Do you only shoot in black & white? +
Black and white is our signature — it's timeless, flattering on every skin tone, and works beautifully with any outfit. We also offer color portraits as an add-on, so guests receive both options in their digital gallery.
How many guests can you photograph per hour? +
Approximately 75 guests per hour — whether solo portraits, couples, or small groups. The more time you give us, the more portraits your guests walk away with.
What space do you need at the venue? +
We need a clear, unobstructed area of at least 10 feet wide by 9 feet high, against a solid wall — no furniture, plants, or hanging decor nearby. A 10-foot clear perimeter around the setup for guest flow, and access to a standard power outlet. We're flexible and will always scope the venue with you ahead of time.
What's included? Do guests get prints? +
Yes — guests receive physical prints on the night, plus access to a private digital gallery to download and share their portraits from any device. Every package includes setup, on-site photographer, unlimited sessions during your booking window, prints, and the digital gallery.
What does it cost? +
Every event is different, so we build a custom proposal based on your date, guest count, location, and booking length. Most clients invest between $1,500 and $3,000 for a full Notable Portraits experience. Fill out the inquiry form and we'll have a proposal to you within 48 hours.
Do you travel outside the Tri-State area? +
Absolutely. We're available for events anywhere. For events outside our home region, a travel fee may apply — we'll always be transparent about this upfront in your proposal, no surprises.
