After seven years photographing weddings, I realized what guests were really missing.
For seven years I shot weddings and events. People showing up dressed beautifully, celebrating the biggest moments of their lives. I spent that time learning how to pose people naturally, help them feel comfortable, and create portraits they actually loved.
Then I stepped away for a year in the studio. And I realized something surprising: I missed weddings. The energy. The emotion. The way people light up when they feel truly seen.
But I also kept noticing the same problem at every event. Guests would step in front of a camera and instantly freeze. They didn't know where to stand. What to do with their hands. How to look natural. The photos came out fine. But they felt forgettable.
That didn't sit right. If someone took the time to get dressed up and show up, the photo should reflect that.
So I built Notable Portraits around what I knew worked. Calm direction. Flattering light. Small posing adjustments that change how someone looks and feels in a photo.
The moment it clicked: watching a guest see her portrait for the first time. Her reaction wasn't "that's nice." It was, "wait... that's me?"

A 10' × 10' to 10' × 12' footprint is ideal with access to a power outlet. We have worked in tighter spaces down to 8' × 8' in a pinch.

No. Props drive down the quality of the portrait and produce images your guests throw away. Our product is the portrait itself. The experience is the attraction, not the accessories. If your event calls for a photo activation with props, a traditional photo booth is a better fit.
Yes, through the Branded Studio upgrade. Custom backdrop, brand-color lighting, color prints to every guest. Common applications: corporate activations, sweet sixteens, themed milestones. The signature white setup remains included with every package.
Weddings: six to twelve months in advance, especially Saturdays in peak season. Milestones and corporate: eight to twelve weeks. If your date is inside four weeks, still ask.
We're based in Fair Lawn, NJ and travel anywhere within roughly two hours at no additional cost. Beyond that radius, we add a travel fee scoped to the distance. For events that require flying, the client covers flights and lodging. The full quote is delivered upfront, no surprises.
